Title

Abortion Awareness in a feminist newspaper

Description

Clippings about abortion from Women's Press, an Oregon-based feminist newspaper. The collage includes the publication's masthead, one woman's experience getting an abortion in Eugene, with a handwritten note that reads "Laws against abortions kill women", art by Marcia Salo Rizzi that states "I am a woman giving birth to myself", and a news story about former President Gerald Ford vetoing a measure that would've provided daycares with the funds to meet federal standards.
